Calling all Housing Associations

The Tenant Support & Wellbeing Service (TSWS) is an initiative that works together with housing providers, property managers and landlords that have a genuine aim to promote the physical, mental, and emotional health and overall wellbeing of their tenants.

This service has been particularly well-received by Housing Associations as part of their wider customer care strategy, playing a significant role in ensuring that their tenants have a safe, comfortable, and supportive living environment.

This service helps to support tenants during difficult and emotional times, providing understanding, empathy, and professional advice. TSWS also offers educational resources on topics like financial management, budgeting and managing debt, helping tenants to stay in control of their finances.

This service tends to see considerable tenant participation (high utilisation) when integrated within ‘Community Engagement’ initiatives, social events, and tenant support groups.  By including the TSWS within community engagement activities it can help to promote a positive living experience and combat feelings of isolation and at the same time provide tenants with 24/7 access to confidential support and advice.

By creating a stigma-free environment that acknowledges the importance of mental wellbeing can positively impact tenants.
