Employee Assistance Programme

An Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) is a specialist support service that assists employees with personal problems and/or work-related problems that may impact their job performance, health (mental and physical) and emotional wellbeing.  An EAP is inexpensive to introduce but will need to be actively account managed and fully promoted within the workplace to be truly effective and have a positive impact on workplace absence.  An EAP will offer free and confidential guidance, support, advice and if required short-term counselling.  Also referrals from management and follow-up services for employees.
